At its meeting on Tuesday night, Hereford City Council resolved to support the Hereford BID in their ballot to renew the Business Improvement District.  In supporting the proposal members of the council noted the successful events over the last few years, the progress with initiatives to reduce crime and antisocial behaviour and the introduction of the seagull proof bags to reduce litter. They also challenged anyone opposing the BID renewal to say where they would find the £1.75m to replace the money the BID will raise for investment in the centre of Hereford.
