Hereford College of Arts Exhibition
In support of Hereford AppleFest, 200 college level Art & Design students from Hereford College of Arts visited the National Trust Brockhampton Estate to produce graphite drawings from the 65 acres of traditional orchards in late September. Half the students were only be 3 weeks into their two-year course where drawing is integrated into each week of study, an important and relevant continuum from when the college was founded 170 years ago.
The drawings on display represent the diverse range of individuals upon the course from across the counties who are each developing their own particular way of interpreting the rich world around them.
The exhibition will be open in the old Laura Ashley shop, between 11am and 5pm on Saturday 1 October.
