The Christmas Lights Switch On is here!

Sunshine Radio, Mayor of Hereford Kath Hey, and Junior Mayor Theo Ashton present the switch on from The Mayor’s Parlour, bringing some much-needed and well-deserved Christmas cheer to the City Centre.

Because of operational issues this year, the switch on has been slightly different to normal. Due to social distancing guidelines we sadly cannot have our usual Christmas event, but we hope that this video presentation of the switch on brings fond memories of last Christmas and plenty of optimism for next year!

We hope all our residents in Hereford and beyond have a holly, jolly and safe Christmas this year, and we’ll be keeping you updated on the situation of late-night shopping as soon as further information is available. Until then, enjoy the Christmas sparkle!
