This years switching-on of the Christmas lights was a huge success, thanks to the many people involved, including staff, volunteers, performers, and organisations. Beginning at 3pm, High Town was alive with music and festivities, which culminated in the Mayor of Hereford Mark Dykes, Father Christmas, and 10-year-old Logan turning the switch at 5pm.
Enormous crowds gathered to watch the show, which featured Betty Boo, Winner of the Voice UK Anthonia Edwards, Jake of Diamonds, the puppies of Paw Patrol, National Star, and many more. The event, which has been absent from the City for three years due to previous Covid restrictions, was organised by Sunshine Radio, without whom this event wouldn’t have been possible.
As the Christmas lights flood our City in a seasonal glow, we hope that everyone enjoys the sights this Winter period. We would like to thank everyone involved in this fantastic event, and we look forward to putting on the Show next year!
