Hereford City Youth Council is a group of young people from a diverse range of backgrounds, faiths, ages and genders, who are passionate about getting young people’s voices heard. By engaging with the City Council and other service providers on issues important to the young people of the City, we strive to ensure that every young person can have a say in decisions that affect them.
Joining the Youth Council gives you the chance to make your mark. You will be able to air your views, meet other young people, and tell decision makers what should really be happening for young people in your area. Youth Councillors are usually 11 – 19 who live, work or study in Hereford, but exceptions can be made (24 if you have a disability).
