Debbie Hobbs
Kings Acre Ward
Brief info
Your Councillor: Debbie Hobbs
I have lived in Hereford most of my life, only moving away to study/work in Leicestershire. I attended Hunderton Primary School and then as a family we moved to the Kings Acre ward when I was 10 yrs old, and attended Whitecross High School where I still live with my family and two much adored pet dogs Twm & Mollie.
I have loved living in the Kings Acre ward, and I'm often seen out and about walking my Dogs in the area. I was very humbled to receive so many votes for the City Council role to which I say a heartfelt thank you to all the ward members.
I currently volunteer my time with two organisations close to my heart, The National Autistic Society Herefordshire Branch and Parent Carer Voice Herefordshire. These volunteering roles focus on advocating for those with disabilities. I'm known nationally for speaking out for those that have no voice of their own and this is shown through my volunteer role with NAS and Parent Carer Voice. I was deeply humbled when recently I was awarded the Coronations Champion Award 2023 by the RVS.
I share a weekly Drop-in Surgery on Saturday Mornings at the Lib Dem Office, from 10 am till 12pm so please do get in touch if you have any concerns for the area.
